About Us Handpainted Illusions has provided the best in murals and faux painting since 1996. Sandy Cea, the principal painter, has an extensive portfolio refleting quality work in homes, businesses and restaurants. She prides herself in high quality and attention to detail for a distinctive result in all her work. Sandy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, one of the finest art schools in the U.S. She has combined her talent and love of beautiful surroundings to help bring clients creative visions to life. She has continued to stay on the leading edge of the latest design and products by continuing education, as well as being contributing artisans for the Orange County Philharmonic House of Design on five separate occasions. Her design house contributions include a focal Italian landscape mural, cabinet finishes, the children's room mural, limestone and faux finishes, and interior painting. She has also been published in the home design section of Orange County's Coast magazine, featuring children's murals and a romantic master bedroom retreat.
